Question re. American Express

Hi

I'm starting a DMP with CCCS and the letters have gone out to the creditors. American Express have acknowledged the letter by replying but have said I should get in touch with them to see if i can be accepted onto their Regain service with a company called RMA.
Does anyone know anything/ have experience with this?
I'm not sure if I should just ignore the letter, CCCS should be setting payments for March, or should I tell CCCS about this?

Please help

  • Not sure really - just bumping to see if anybody can help. Though i would call CCCS and explain what they have said - and ask their advice, thats what they are there for and should be able to advise you on what to do.

    Sorry, not much help
  • yes! I'm going through the same thing - setting up a DMP with Payplan. I've had loads of letters about Regaine and RMA via American Express. Just forward copies of the letters to CCCS. I've responded in writing to every single one advising them of my payplan number and that I've forwarded the details on - still get more letters though! I wouldn't recommend talking to them... no need.. I've opted for doing everything in writing - at least there's a paper trail.;)
DMP with payplan started Feb 07 ... total debts... £66,000 Debt Free date 2024
  • thanks for this - I gave CCCS a call, my DMP pack has been posted today so I should have all the info need at hand in future. Have been advised not to respond to the letter as they have written to them today.
Thanks for the answers though :T

if RMA are RMA debt collections then dont do it. They are one of the worst you will never be free of them.

Listen to CCCS and be advised by them
