£700/month free to overpay the BH loan with - so do it! Cash in the loan now will reduce the interest month on month - call them up and see what the deal is regarding overpayments. Just think, put your mind to it, and you'll be out of debt by July, as opposed to getting a new 3-5 yrs of debt and giving away even more in interest in the long term!

    Hi guys.
My insurance is £48pm. This was added to my £210 outgoings. I use around £20 petrol pm this was not added to outgoings nor was around £40 pm for foods/toiletrys. The low living costs are due to the fact i live/work on a self substained site but i would like to add that this type of 'do what you want, when you want' life style is heavy on the wallet, ive had my fun now its time to buckle up and face the real world.

My situation has now somewhat changed. Getting a promotion not only increases my pay but considerably increases my outgoings(financialy im better off without the promotion, but im all for progression) as under no circumstances am i allowed to live on site. Part of the loan would help reduce my monthly payments to BH and the other part would be used to set up a home.

Once again I would like to thank you all for you input. I have learned so much over the past week. Why they don't teach you this at school is beyond me!
