maxi length waist slip

Have searched high and low for a waist slip to wear under maxi skirts and dresses - I can only find ones which end just below the knee. I am only 5'6", not exceptionally tall! You'd think there would be some available on the high street, with maxis being so popular at the moment.........or am I just blind?:o
