interview help

Had interview yesterday – wasn’t as bad as I was expecting however they don’t have all our statements as yet so I would imagine harder conversations to come but what I wanted to know is they didn’t really comment on any points on SOA (either reduce or raise) can anyone answer when does this happen? I am worried that I do not want to spend the money if they then say the allowances are too high.
Also they have said we will likely not hear from them know for another 6-8 weeks is this normal?
Thanks again

Usually would have said already in an IPA was in prospect. But people do things differently.
Even if it turns out it is, then any IPA only applies to income expenditure from the time it is agreed onwards. In other words, it wouldn't retrospectively demand what you spend now until then, should anything be reduced. Exception to that is tax owed under the NT code IPA, as that is technically not yours in the first place.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
