Ann Summers vs Bodyshop at Home

I'm currently an Ann Summers Party Rep, but am getting to the point where I'm starting to hate it... I've been doing it for 7 months, have been in the top ten in the area 4 times, have kept my account at 0 pretty much all of the time, and have had a line up of 10+ for the past 4 months, but I now feel like I'm monitored constantly- I have to give my hostess details to my UO, so she can do random spot checks (on what I'm not quite sure!), and am being pushed massively to get more sales (I regularly bank £1000 a month, and if I work any more, I'll not get to see my hubby!) and I'm just feeling totally demotivated... I have an appointment to see a Bodyshop at Home Consultant next week, in the hope that I'll be able to carry on with party plan (which is ideal with child care etc) but in a less pressured environment.
Essentially, what I'm asking, is there anyone here who's done both AS at BSAH? And can tell me what is better? Both money wise and pressure wise? TIA

Its a pity you can't do both at the same time.... The main customers for BS are women, the only customers for AS are women.

Have you thought of Bluebella? You already have the customer base, much less pressure.
I am currently with them, and I like their business ethic and support.
    Loving the sunny days!

    Hi :)
I have done both AS and BS as well as BlueBella, lol!
I found BS a whole lot less pressurised than AS - in fact I left AS to join BS and for exactly the same reasons that you are describing. I also found Body Shop much more profitable and the rewards a lot higher :) I'd have a look at the Body Shop thread on here if you haven't already x
Regarding BlueBella - if you are looking for a company that sells products the same as or along similar lines to AS I would go for BlueBella :) They are a lovely company to work for and Emily Bendall, the owner, is truly one of the nicest people I have ever been fortunate enough to meet :)
I don't work for any of the companies mentioned above now so I am not gaining anything from my reply. I would suggest that you look at both Body Shop and BlueBella and hope this helps you with your decisions.
Good luck and all the best x

Everything happens for a reason :)

Do the owners of BSAH L'Or!al continue to test on animals ? Would this not affect sales if they do ?

There's always one.... Are you naive enough to think that the vast majority of women trying these products in a home enviroment would ask or even be bothered about that? Whether right or wrong its place is not here and my apologies for derailing this thread further.

You might be the one in this case.

An Avon rep informed me recently that business has gone down because it was recently announced they were testing on animals, and reps were seeking advice on how to respond to customers. So perhaps cosmetics buyers are more interested in the subject then you give them credit for.
