the account is way older than 2007, if they dont have it what does that mean?

AFAIK, if the credit agreement was set up before April 2007, they have to be able to provide a signed copy of it if you ask for one. If they can't then the agreement may become unenforceable.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.
  • Pre 2007, no CCA means no chance of court action and potential CCJ. If they have one it's likely to have holes and be unenforceable In court. They will try and fob you off with a current agreement, they did with me. Means nothing and then you can bargain as if they sell it no doubt they get less if no CCA. They will still default you though.

    Hi

One option is to go through CCCS/Payplan/CAP and when you are up and running and payments are accepted, switch to a self managed DMP.

I realise there may be reasons why you don't wish to go down the managed route but you will find it less stressful and you will spin fewer plates.

Thanks for all the advice, I have now phoned payplan and have asked them to help as I have had yet another letter rejecting my offer.

Ill let payplan sort it all out and then keep a eye on interest etc as I have read that some creditors still dont freeze the interest and you end up even more in debt

Thanks again, ill be straight back here if I need any more info

    Cheers
    Sarah
