I have 5k of debts,:( 1st DMP payment comes out next week, the spending diary also starts today and I feel like a weight has been lifted.

I am far from a pro and Im certainly no finacial angel, Im even a newbie on here. But well done from me anyway.

I cant really comment as I dont know you or your family, so I await the preverbial back hander, but surely whatever their initial thoughts/feelings, being your family they would be happier seeing that yes, your in debt but your taking steps to solve it, than yes, your in debt and have done nothing about it?
I dont know. If things really would be that bad, even after a rant and a brew, then like you I hope they dont find out! Ha!
