Scam- More than sure...

Recieved an email claiming to be fedex express service ,titled 'deliver error No5831' email claims something about a package being over the free weight delivery service, and needs to be picked up by person, has a file attached to it, saying it needs to be printed off to collect item, Im 99.9% sure its a scam or virus, as long as i didnt open the attachment I shouldnt have to worry about virus's etc??:eek:
This email was in an email account that I rarely use for comping (and in spam). So pretty sure its not a win.
Any ideas,thoughts,experiences etc welcome.

Yes defo spam, I get the all the time. And no as long as you don't download attachments you should be fine!2009 Wins = £833

its a virus, it says on fed-ex website they never attach files to emails and to just delete it straight away, i had one 2 days ago.dec wins: thomas and friends goody bag worth £60
jan wins: a big fat 0
Feb wins: waitrose cheese plate £15??,champneys mum 2 be spa day worth £1350 -
