Hi all. I'm very new to all this, I'm probably not even posting in the right place! but I just wanted to thank everyone, as I don't how how to remember who posted what, so a blooming great big thanks to the whole lot of you! :T
I promise as soon as I find my feet a little I will do my utmost to post comps too, but bear with me!
I have won, since starting these competitions three short weeks ago...

Roxy Bag worth £109.99-fb = Absolutely gorgeous, given to my daughter Roxy :-)
£50 worth of Adessa cooking oils and apron
£25 writing a short email to Prima
£60 from Take-a-break
£100 worth (roughly) of cinema tickets to see Phantom menace 3D at the ever-so plush Imax in London which, according to my kiddies and brother in law and partner was absolutely amazing!
oh and some hair-care products from Loreal via facebook.
I just wanted to say, that although majority of my wins are through facebook, it is still thanks :T to you lovely lot who post the competitions and what you have won that gave me the boost I needed to start comping, so thank-you all ever so much, I really appreciate the people who take their time to post and for making what was a hard start to the year a bit brighter. xxx :beer:

Well done! Can I ask how u enter the FB comps... Do you just click the like button & that's you entered? Sorry if that's a dumb question but I'm really not sure how to enter them.

Hi Elledee...

I know this question was aimed at the Carriecakes but I can try and help on this one..

Facebook comps vary from each competition. They are normally broken down into these categories, but for simplicity sake all of them will require you to 'like' the page first:

1. 'Like' and wait for page to reach a certain number of likes e.g 1,000 likes before they choose a winner at random.
2. Like and share a particular post on their wall - you might need to leave a comment also.
3. Enter via the 'competition' or 'sweepstakes' or other aptly named heading (located on top left hand side of their page under their image, where you would find photos & info) - Then you follow instructions, you might have to answer question, sumbit info, watch a video or play a game even.
4. Tag yourself in a competition image - which requires tagging your name on the particular image they refer to in the competition.. Normally there is a competition folder and will be several of the same images, as there is a limit to tags per picture available (approx 45 tags per pic allowed).
5. Sometimes you have to answer a question on their wall or in the comments box of a particular post..

You get the idea..

Can vary quite a bit! Some competitions require you to install apps also with various permissions, some require minimal info and some require massive amounts - i tend to stay clear of those requiring very private info or access.. but that's just me..
