Do tesco echange without a reciept? They do with games and dvds but not sure about food - maybe someone else could shed light on this?

If so you could exchange it for something you would like from in store?

I've exchanged with tins and bottles!!!
Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies
  • I was also told to keep the food when I checked it with a driver.
Oh and Bernard Matthews food is going for a song at the moment. Morrisons is doing offers on the range, too and the shelves are being left alone. Not surprising really that they say his sales are down by 40%.

This happened to me once and the driver said 'just keep it'
Give the food to someone who would appreciate it.

  • THis happened to me once - the driver handed me a bag with a portion of crispy duck at the top of it. I said that I hadn't ordereed it and he said not to worry and to keep it! DH was very impressed!!!!!!!

It depends which Tesco you go to. My Tesco wouldn't exchange a sealed DVD! And I HAD bought it from there.
Try and take it back saying that your OH bought Bernard Matthews stuff but you'd rather not chance it, could you exchange it for something else? See what they say! I'm sure lots of BM stuff is getting taken back.

    why is r and r a disgrace?

Because people misuse it and make a mockery of it. Soon it will be gone and then people that have genuinely been overcharged will have to put up with basic refunds instead of a nice generous R&R for a genuine mistake.

I put it in a student fridge on campus saying anyone who wanted it could eat it, and one of the packets is half empty already. Guess that's that one solved!
  • There is absolutely nothing wrong with eating turkey, so long as you cook it properly, possibly add on an extra few minutes. Apparently the bug is killed at about 60 degrees C, and you would be cooking it at about three times that temperature. To be honest, if you undercooked it you would be ill anyway! One way I tell if something like that is cooked is listen to it, if it is sizzling it is cooked.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
