New house & Cavity Wall insulation

Hi, this may be a stupid question, so apoligises.

I live in a 2 bed detached house which was built in 2002 ish and was wondering if my house had cavity wall insulation done or if I need to get it sorted?

Is there an easy way of checking to see if its done?

was it built by a national builder?

I'd be amazed if a house built that recently didnt have it.

maybe ring your council building control? they should be able to help you.

why do you think it's not done?

Built by Fairclough Homes.

No reason to think it hasn't but saw an advert and just checking. Thought it should of been done, but wasn't sure.

Is there a way of checking?

dunno, I'm not a builder

can ask a friendly builder or maybe your local council building control?

says most houses had it from the 90's

Unless it was built incorrectly your house has some form of insulation in the cavity. It was not possible to comply with regulations without in 2002.
