Just to jumpstart this thread - I have a Fliofax but the cost of the inserts stopped me using it in the end, and I converted to using a moleskine.
What I do is I make a diary from a squared pocket sized one, I love writing and having a check list, so electronic stuff just isn't for me (and I have tried it lots over the years). I personalise each Moleskine with the year it starts in and month, then the month and year it ends plus I cover it with nice paper etc. Normally Waterstones will have a buy 2 get one free at some point.MFW #185

I've had mine since 1978 and have used it ever since

and I've just realised it's older than many people who post on MSE :rotfl:.................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)0 -
I've used one for years, it's a pocket size. I tend to buy WHSmith inserts instead of Filofax branded ones as they are cheaper.0

Yes, I did that this year, but in the 'week to view' I've found that Thursday is now on the left, not the right! I keep looking at the wrong day and get very confused!Pink-Angel wrote: »I've used one for years, it's a pocket size. I gave mine up 15 years ago when I moved to a palm, then a smartphone. They hold everything but the odd paper receipts which go into my wallet. Having lost a filofax, the benefits of easily backing up an electronic system are undeniable in my opinion.0
