mayflower egg fried rice and chicken curry at farm foods

has anyone tried the above. was thinking it could an alternative to my Friday night takeaways as it would be bout half price.

does it pass the taste test?

    now i quite like them also the special fried rice and chicken with mushroom
  • The Mayflower range is not bad, I like the boxed curry sauce powder for rustling up a quick meal.

    I havent tried the ready meals but like Slinky_Malinky use the boxed curry powder on our 'homemade takeaway' nights. It tastes just like the curry sauce from the local chippy/chinese! but much cheaper!

    I've used the frozen mayflower chinese curry sauce and the packets of powder already mentioned to make my own chinese curries and they're very good. i wouldn't personally buy the ready made curry and rice as I don't know what quality the chicken is but that's personal choice obviously!

    i have, there lovely and there powdered curry is great to ..sometimes I make my own curry sauce and put them on chips from the chippy
