has anyone tried the above. was thinking it could an alternative to my Friday night takeaways as it would be bout half price.

The Mayflower range is not bad, I like the boxed curry sauce powder for rustling up a quick meal.0

I havent tried the ready meals but like Slinky_Malinky use the boxed curry powder on our 'homemade takeaway' nights. It tastes just like the curry sauce from the local chippy/chinese! but much cheaper!0

I've used the frozen mayflower chinese curry sauce and the packets of powder already mentioned to make my own chinese curries and they're very good. i wouldn't personally buy the ready made curry and rice as I don't know what quality the chicken is but that's personal choice obviously!0
