I've just heard about musicmagpie from another thread and wondered if you get anything similar for selling books? I've found Zapper but I'm not sure if it'll be ok, anyone used it? I'm trying to declutter and make some money!

I have and they are very good, they get a courier to collect and will check the items at their warehouse shortly after collection. It took around 2 weeks to receive the cheque but I was very happy with the service.Comping wishlist for 2017

Likewise trying to de-clutter, would like to know how you get on as I cannot register with them - filled everything in, hit return, said they'd send a registration email, but got no email. I've asked them to re-send twice now too (having carefully checked whether email was correct). My wife has similarly tried to register and received no email. And I've left a message for their support team.
They are offering decent prices for some of the books, but I'm wondering if they are still in business or whether I'm wasting my time, and couldn't find a phone number on the website to contact them on.

I've just registered and found that my registration email went to my junk folder. I'm on hotmail. So worth checking.Likewise trying to de-clutter, would like to know how you get on as I cannot register with them - filled everything in, hit return, said they'd send a registration email, but got no email. I don't have a junk folder or any spam filters on my system, maybe my ISP blocks certain emails? Will have to ask them, sounds at least as if this is worth pursuing (thank you) ... just wonder, was there anything in the message subject line that might have caused it to head into your junk?0 -

Well that's interesting, but I can't explain it, I can get at the emails if I go onto webmail, but can't see them at all if I'm using POP3 to download them ... not happening with any other emails, which are all arriving without a problem. Checked my wife's webmail too, same thing with hers. How weird.
But off now to try to sell some books ...0 -
I found these guys quite useful too, arrived promptly and I got more money for my books than I thought I would, bonus :-)0
