I believe it gives one free gift for every £10 spent, so in the first example it was only £16.50 spent, therefore one free gift. In the second one you would have spent £30.75 (before 3 for 2 kicks in) so therefore 3 gifts. Hope that makes sense!! HTH.
Hi
When you add say 3 x £5.50 items, one free gift is automatically added to your basket. If you then manually add a further 2 of the gift sets they will go into the basket free. Unfortunately not a lot of the cheaper stuff left but it does still work so worth keeping an eye on the site to spot when stuff comes back into stock.
Have had a dispatch e-mail for my 3 x hair sachets and 3 free gift sets - £5.93 inc the £1.95 delivery to store. HTH0 -

And I thought I was doing well spending £20.00 for 3 gifts. . . .lol.
Nothing remotely like the price necessary left now to get that kind of glitch.. . . Clever!0 -
I'm pleased with mine anyway (3 candles and 3 gifts for £24.50). I looked at them instore and they look really lovely - perfect for mothers day. The gift pack looks good enough to give as a gift on it's own, although I'd be worried that the recipients would shop in Boots and know it was a freebie. It doesn't look like a freebie though, it's really nice. I could always give it with something cheaper from Sanctuary, for MIL who doesn't liek candles, and keep the candle myself52% tight0

I agree - love the candles.
Re the free gift, this isn't actually a specific promotional GWP, it is one of their existing product linesand will be subject to the usual Boots returns policy should the recipient want to exchange it for any other item. Think that is why it is glitching as they usually get it right on a straight forward GWP.

I got
Sanctuary Foaming Cream Scrub - £ 6.50
Sanctuary Daily Spa Escape Body Mist Spray - £ 11.00
Sanctuary My Spa Escape Gift - Free Gift
Delivery - £ 1.95
Order Total £13.95
Happy with that. I wanted the candle at first but then thought it's just not worth it when it's quite expensive and a luxury and i have loads of candles and would for me be a waste of money for sake of using a "money saving" glitch. So I got the cheapest practical items I could.0
