Found an old payslip with details of pension payments on it

Basically - as the thread titles says. Been having a good clear out lately while looking for PPI policy details etc, and came across some old payslips dating back to 1998. The slips contain some payments I made into a pension scheme, not a huge amount which is why I've probably forgotten all about it (circa £300).
Can anyone give me some advice on how to go about getting this back, or transferred into another pension plan?
thanks
