    I would only echo what has been said previously

    Do not pay him anything. This kind of broker are exactly the reason the FSA wanted full disclsoure of fees for.

    He does not want to abide by the rules of the FSA then do not give him any extra money as he will have received his procuraton fee direct from the lender.

    If anyone should be scared about the situation it should be the broker and not you. He has a great deal to lose if he carries on in this way and the FSA would love to hear about this broker and any other brokers that are doing the same thing
