I know you cannot find discounts for Apple products as a rule but know that retailers often so am expecting to pay the usual 8gb £150-£170 Apple tax (unless anyone here tells me otherwise).
But the last Ipod touch i got i loved and has died on me recently so am wanting a new one. I know with there being no discounts retailers often throw other things in with it, for instance my last one came from HMV with a £10 gift voucher and docking station (claimed to be worth £30 but i reckon it was a £10 jobby).
So basically i was wondering in absence of a discount is there anywhere throwing a decent bundle in at the moment?

Hi there! We’ve had to remove your signature. It was so good we removed it because we cannot think of one so good as you had and need to protect others from seeing such a great signature.

Lionhead,
The one time Apple do offer reasonable discounts is when one of their products breaks down. Eg my son's old nano lost audio in one channel. We took it to Apple who couldn't/wouldn't repair it but they did offer to sell him a replacement for circa £75 (from memory) which was substantially cheaper than then full price of a replacement.
It would be worth checking with them.
In our case we declined their kind offer and bought an equally good mp3 player for less than half the price elsewhere. ;-)Just because somebody is certain doesn't mean they are right!0
