Me....i was 23 when i bought my house, im now 28, bought our house for £190,000, 23 years remaining and £127,000 left on our mortgage...oh and i will be 49/50 when we will be MF but hoping to be a lot sooner as soon as i can start making OP's :T

In theory, 20, but havent even started the capital yet.

Current Projections are its paid off in 6 years and 7 months after we start attacking the capital, but we'll be moving before then anyway.

In "Final Home" by 30 and mortgage free by 50 is the plan at the moment.

I should add I bought a flat at 20, then a terrace house at 25 in 1995 before the prices went silly so only had to pay off £41000.

I haven't got a mortgage now, i bought my first terrace house when i was mid twenties for £6.5k and changed selling for £10k to a semi a couple of years later costing £17.5k.
It seemed a lot of money at the time.
