Hi All
I apologise if this is a thread that has been done before I have done a search and cant find anything.
Anyway I have quite a large amount of debt but have not defaulted, although have a few missed payments on CC-, stupid errors paying too little (in the single £'s or online sending the payment to wrong bill (doh) but just week or so out until sorted. Though loans are few years old and never missed. Anyhow because of these payment I thought my credit rating would be awful and was avoiding looking. Anywho in a moment of bravery i though I better look and went with Equifax, had free credit report but then also did credit rating £5.95. To my surprise my rating said excellent, one thing letting me down was i moved a few months ago and not registered with electors, it usually comes periodically through the post so was waiting, but that is being sorted now.
Anyway after browsing i found another site, Noodle which is free so thought I'd check with them as well. Completely different story there, my rating is 1/5 which is the worst or the one above. Anyway I'm confused, how can they be so different. Which is the better option? Equifax or Noodle. Should I now check with Experian too, or is it all pointless.
Kind Regards:)

They are all a guide, as each creditor uses their own criteria. many on here would say that the CRA scores are an utter waste of time.
being on the electoral role will help.
best not to pay for another one. just apply for credit when you need it, that's the true test of how good your credit rating is.:beer:0
