So you see if Amazon will accept the books you're wanting rid of, and then they'll send you a prepaid label so you can send them off to Amazon...you'll then get a gift card in return. Sounds good...

I did a trade on Amazon a few weeks ago and it was very straightforward, they pay for the postage and I received my Amazon voucher by email promptly.
This is only for textbooks though I think, not any other books. They also do trade in for video games, not checked how competitive their prices are.0 -
They do normal books too but all the ones I traded in only got 25p for each one so it's a bit rubbish.I did a trade on Amazon a few weeks ago and it was very straightforward, they pay for the postage and I received my Amazon voucher by email promptly.

No, it's not a referral link I posted. As far as I'm aware, there isn't a referral scheme for this, besides which I've been here long enough to know and abide by the forum rules.

and normal amazon referal ("assoisiate") links codes don't look like that, they usually have 'name'-21 in the link."And suddenly I find myself listening to a man I've never known before,Telling me about the sea..."0 -
Is it still the flat rate of 25p per 'normal' book theyre paying on here now ?

I am not aware they pay any sort of flat rate for 'normal' books. According to the trade in page they still only take textbooks:

If you have a book that isn't a mass market paperback I would try marketplace first. I sold a newish sewing book on marketplace for £11 a couple of weeks ago. The Amazon trade-in thingy was offering £1.75 for it.0
