Saturday day out

Hi All,
A friend of mine has been through a traumatic couple of weeks and I want to treat her to a nice day out locally on Saturday.
I've booked afternoon tea for us later in the afternoon, but I wondered if anyone else has any ideas for other novel things we could do. I'm going to look into getting a fishy pedicure first thing in the morning, but wondered whether any shops had any events on or if you lovely peeps had any other novel or cheap ideas?
TIA

"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

South East / Surrey.
I've already ditched the fish pedicure idea since her local one has had bad reviews."Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being"."Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that"."True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".:rotfl:0 -
RHS Wisley has a butterflies event that might be nice to de-stress http://www.rhs.org.uk/Gardens/Wisley/What-s-on/Butterflies - Wisley is nice generally, though it depends what the weather is doing.
Denbie's Wine Estate in Dorking is worth a visit.
If you have a look in your local paper you'll probably find loads of things in there you could do.0
