Tax repayment 2006-2007 liability if wrong

in Cutting tax
I have just been sent a repayment for 2006-2007 but have not yet received their calculation.
This goes back six years and as I check each year I thought my tax affairs were correct for that year. Does anyone know what my liability is if they (HM Revenue & Customs) have got it wrong. Can I accept repayment and say nothing or am I legally bound to tell them if they have got it wrong?

Why not wait for the computation (P800) and see? You can wrestle with your conscience at that point, if they're wrong. If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0
