UK business confidence 'growing'

The number of UK businesses planning to increase their spending on marketing has risen sharply from last year, a survey suggests.
A net proportion of 38.5% of businesses intend to raise their marketing budgets this year, according to a survey of more than 2,000 firms carried out by research group Mindmetre.
In 2011, the survey showed no net increase in companies raising spending.
Mindmetre said the results showed that business confidence was growing.
Staggeringly good news!!

Yet another pointer showing the way for 2012 - it's getting to look REALLY good for those who want to get out there and make it work for them!!

My company and many others in the same industry are hiring like mad. These are highly skilled, well paid jobs.
The tide is definitely turning.

Mr Pricklepants, it is quite staggering how desperate companies are for skilled people - we are seriously begging for people. The starting salary at £50k doesn't help, of course, one reason we are struggling.
You get the odd dreamer applying - they write in their CV's such things like ... I want a job DUDE, give me a job MAN.
Well, quite clearly, they are not the type we want here - we want winners, not losers, - people who can string a sentence together without looking like a thick plank (they will be representing our Company in discussions and communications, after all).Bringing Happiness where there is Gloom!0 -

Although I think McTittish's idea is a good one, I think a better way to defeat these idiots is to just ignore their posts.
Additionally, any threads started by them (and we all know who I'm talking about) should be left unanswered and allowed to drift off onto lower pages of the board - never to be seen again.
