Is Noddle a scam?

Options
Hi all

After registering my interest with Noddle (https://www.noddle.co.uk/), I received an invitation to register.

On 3 different occasions, I have tried to register (entering my credit card details each time) and was succussful. I get the "We've sent an activation email to you" webpage (valid for 24 hours) but the mail never arrives in my inbox. I have checked deleted items, scam box, etc. but its just not there?!

Anyone else had this? I could do without entering other credit card numbers..

Cheers

You have a scam box for your email? I bet that makes those dastardly scams easy to spot :D

Anyway, it's not a scam. I've been a satisfied user of Noddle since their trial, and it is brilliant.

May I advise you get in touch with Noddle themselves via their website and explain the issue to them, only they can sort it out for you.

Used noddle here since the start. I've been pleasantly surprised by it.

As said, check your spam folders.

    And/or contact them.

    See: https://www.noddle.co.uk/contact-us

They have had teething problems with registration on and off.

  • I have found that if I'm using Outlook on Windows, or if I'm using my Macbook - then the emails take a good while to come through - if at all.

If you''re using one of those, go on to hotmail or whatever your email provider is - my code came through in under 2 minutes - I just this second signed up.

Noddle is most definately NOT a scam, it is a great service and best of all at no cost to the user. I have always found them very helpful if you have a problem, so I would get in touch with them and I am sure they will solve your problem and you will be enjoying seeing your credit report without having to dish out £5+ each month for the privelage in no time.
  • I currently use Experian for mine, which I don't mind paying out for, is it worth switching over though if this one is free?

Experian is 'allegedly' more widely checked and reported to by lenders, so if you need to keep a constant tab on your credit reports then I would hesitate to use Noddle alone.

Then again, for me it shows up everything that should or could be there. May not be the same if you have a different set of companies/debts reporting though.

Why not sign up to Noddle and see how it goes? It's free after all. Then you can decide later on.

  • Thanks everyone.

I used another email address and it went in first time. Perhaps they don't like gmail addresses?

    Gz

I am going to check this noddle out.. sounds good. thanks for the heads up.

FYI, Gmail has been misbehaving all day, ive not had emails from several sources, it may well be googles fault not noddles.

I first tried over a week ago so its unlikely a Gmail issue.

Anyway, I've just checked it out and it looks great (the website - not my credit report!) ;)

Can't see anything which was on the Experian one that isn't included here.

I like the "Dashboard" concept too - keeps everything relevant on the front page. Saves £7 quid a month too!
