    For the rest of us reading this thread, comments like that above rattle a huge klaxon that you aren't even looking at repayments, you just want the money now with no consideration toward the burden it will place on you.

    You really need to forget this idea completely, it isn't going to happen.

    Up until a few years ago we had a decade of credit madness, where the 'spend now worry about it later' culture in the UK really got out of hand.

    Those days are over and we are now firmly in a period of credit austerity where the availibility of credit is very mich a priviledge as opposed to a right. You appear to be stuck in a 2004 timewarp if you remain convinced that you will get a loan of that amount under your circumstances.....
