Some advice regards Winterthur pension

Hi Guy's, My Father has recently passed away and upon searching through his things I have stumbled upon what seems to be a Winterthur pension that I never new he had.
My Mum is still with us and still has a mortgage on the property of around £7500 remaining.
I really don't know what I am looking at and was wondering if someone could shed some light on this (a rough idea what this could be worth).. I have attached a link of a statement. It would be brilliant if it would clear the mortgage for my Mum.

Many thanks for your advice

Hi & thanks for the reply, I have been in contact with them and I'm just waiting for the relevant paperwork to come through, but I was just after an idea on what it was worth if it would be cashed in.

Normally when someone dies with a personal pension the spouse will receive the total funds as a lump sum.
It doesn't need to remain as a pension.
It isn't liable for tax.
- don't hold me to it, but it looks like your mum will be able to pay off the mortgage.
my condolences on your father passing away.
NOTE: I'm assuming he wasn't taking any income from this pension?
