Capquest keep calling

I have had a number of missed calls from Capquest in the last 2 weeks.
I have 6 debts all of which are being paid £1 a month and through debt collection agencies who wrote to me prior to any phone calls as would be expected and all agencies have written recently asking for an update on circs and then wrote to confirm that £1 a month is still ok.
So I can't understand why capquest are calling me (they tried to call once before in August) surely any genuine dca would write.
Who are capquest and how do I get their calls blocked?
I won't be answering their calls so would writing telling them to remove my mobile number without giving an address work?

No it won't work, it will just tell them they have the right number and make them much keener. Do what you are doing and continue to ignore. Capquest called me a few times last year, got no answer and stopped. Never make contact, they obviously want to try and put you at a disadvantage, they will write if they are genuine.0

Thats what I thought as ignored them last year after their first call and didn't hear anything until now when they have been a bit more persistent.
Although have no idea why they are calling me 6 debts are with other dca and are up to date etc.0 -
Agree, ignore unless they write to you.
The calls may be annoying in the short term admittedly but if they don't get an answer they'll either put something in writing or stop.
Are they ringing your mobile - and if so does your mobile allow you to block specific numbers?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Have you sent Capquest an updated SOA ? Maybe they're calling to discuss it.0

I don't think Capquest are one of the debt collectors she is dealing with?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
There is only one reason they will be calling and that is because they have the intention of trying to wheedle money out of you.
I have pretty much got rid of all the unwelcome callers now; but, as most mobiles are not equipped to block specific numbers (as suggested by Tixy) I always used to press the red button to reject the call as soon as I saw who it was- they soon get the message when you do that.0 -

You need to get them to F7 you
F7 is usually the abusive recipient button, once f7 is pressed they dont call back as they know you will abuse the caller.
ill leave you to work out how to do it.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
