i have a student loan back from 1995. I don't need to pay them back until my gross income is £2311
i am on job seekers allowance, in order to defer repayments
i have to send in bank statements showing my jsa payments.
Now i have a joint bank account with my partner. Will they take her wages into account

They cannot take her wages into account. If you are sending bank statements just make it clear that it is a joint account and that the other deposits relate to the other person. As an alternative you could send them some other proof of your JSA, such as a letter from JSA stating your award.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0

the only letter i have from jsa stating my award is from last November, that's the only one they sent me is this good enough?0

Looking at direct gov it suggestsIf you are in receipt of benefits
In you are receiving benefits, you will need to supply one of the following:- a stamp on your deferment application form from the agency that administers your benefits (such as Jobcentre Plus)
- a letter from the agency confirming your name, date, type and amount of benefit you receive
Could you get jobcentre to stamp your form?
