i am on job seekers allowance, in order to defer repayments
i have to send in bank statements showing my jsa payments.
Now i have a joint bank account with my partner. Will they take her wages into account

They cannot take her wages into account. If you are sending bank statements just make it clear that it is a joint account and that the other deposits relate to the other person. As an alternative you could send them some other proof of your JSA, such as a letter from JSA stating your award.

Looking at direct gov it suggests
If you are in receipt of benefits

In you are receiving benefits, you will need to supply one of the following:
    • a stamp on your deferment application form from the agency that administers your benefits (such as Jobcentre Plus)
    • a letter from the agency confirming your name, date, type and amount of benefit you receive

Could you get jobcentre to stamp your form?
