With the base rate still at 0.5%, how much can a person with very good credit rating get an unsecured personal loan?

    Depends on their financial circumstances (including information that is nothing to do with the information on their credit file) and the amount they want to borrow.

    Typically though the lowest rates for unsecured personal loans in the £7.5k-£10k bracket (which tends to be the cheapest amount to borrow) are around 6% APR.

    There can possibly be cheaper ways to borrow money depending on the amount required and what it is needed for (eg 0% credit cards and 'credit card loans').

    Best way is to campare the deals available, you can do this yourself.
