Advice on job offer

Hi all,
I recently had the offer of a part time job, on a casual basis, but the employer says i have to make a number of deliveries using my own car, i would not even consider this especially since i will not be paid for the milage, but just curious as to how this affects my insurance.

I suspected this may be the case, but i'm not clued up on these things.
