can a solicitor acting on behalf of someone email me for the first time! this person is trying to sue me an iv not had any letters just this email from her supposed solicitor so so i take this seriuously or is it an attempt to frighten me x not sure if this is the right place to post this but any advice will be helpful x

Have you checked out the solicitor to make sure they are genuine? A lot of debt collectors use trading names that try to give an impression they are solicitors when in fact they are not.
A notice before legal action commences giving you the chance to pay or dispute a debt should be given under court rules, so could be that.

its off a solicitor iv never heard off but do they normally email you to communicate im a bit like puzzled as iv not received any letters just this email ?0
