Haven't bought it myself, but was trying to point out that it cost you a lot more than 14p; I think there is a danger of taking the price check money away from the Asda price rather than the Tesco price. This is JTD not DTD, so all you are getting is the Asda price at Tesco.

as i understand it, it is the welchs coupon in the t's magazine that reduces the price further as the pricecheck does not take this into consideration.

just hoping that someone will confirm it works.

No reason why it shouldn't work as it's on mysupermarket.com, but who knows? Is the coupon for £1.21 then? If so, you're right it would make it effectively 14p.

Please can I ask are there any wines worth getting for a JTD please?

I've trawled all the way through the whites on mysupermarket without finding any with a good price difference.

Blossom Hill sauv blanc is still listed although it came back as NA for me last week

I also found a Jacobs creek cool harvest. So I had a look at Asda.com and that was fine. But when I looked at Tesco.com it was titled differently - no Cool Harvest - so I dont want to risk this one.

    Any suggestions?

I'd suggest the Cono Sur sauv blanc - £7.49 in T's, £5 in A's - tho not tried it yet.

Also if you wanted fizz the Tesco Finest Prosecco has compared in the past and is currently £9.99 in T's and £7.98 in A's.

HTH - let us know how you get on.

BTW the Blossom Hill sauv blanc is currently out of stock in A's, so maybe why it didn't come back - might be reduced to clear as it's £3.

It looks like it should compare, fingers crossed. I've got a final couple of conditional spends to use up so worth a try.
Yesterday I got Ts finest Gavi (italian) and got a good result :T

has anybody bought the purple welch' s at 2.49 and compared it. seems like a good deal if it compares.

    2.49 (T) -1.14(A)= 1.35 jtd.

plus the welchs coupon makes juice 14p.

    let me know.

Your definitely right Rosie if it does compare. You bought it for £2.49 from Tescos, used the £1 off MOC, so you have paid £1.49. If it compares you will get back £1.35 making the grape juice 14p!!

Please let us know if it compares, I still have 20 MOCs to use!

    Thanks!

Sorry Silver what you are saying is incorrect. There is a danger of mistaking the JTD with the Asda price. Asda £1.14, Tesco £2.49 so JTD is £1.35.

But surely that means you pay the Asda price of £1.14 made up of 2.49-1.35?

Buy at £2.49 in Tesco's, use £1 coupon from Tesco magazine that can only be used in Tesco's. Do price check get JTD voucher for £1.35. So effectively you are paying £2.49 minus £1 Tesco magazine coupon = £1.49 and you get a £1.35 JTD voucher to use in Tesco's, so essentially 14p per bottle:)
