Thanks to FloFlo on elite thread emails now coming through as not found. This happened the other week but not as long to realise
My 3 earlier ones have also all now come back as not found. I re-entered them yesterday, using the 12 hour clock instead of 24 and they're still processing. I'm begining to regret doing that though now if it's not fixed - probably should have waited til it was working again though as these will probably come back not found as well
They've said on FB to email them the receipt details and they'll check them...0 -
My email has come through ok from Saturday receipt submission0

Hi everyone.
I've 'wombled' a receipt for £270. If I put this into the pricechecker and it comes back as a saving against a*da will I still be able to use it ?
Have entered about 10 of my own and never had any luck. Always cheaper at Mr T's unfortunately. So dont know how this works as have had no experience
The shopping was paid by credit card not cash.

I asked this question a couple of weeks ago as I had not found any receipts before in my trollies. Just don't use your clubcard when you're using the voucher in case it doesn't tie in with the one used on the receipt (if someone else had used their clubcard). If they didn't, you'll be okay to use your one. £270 is some receipt for food. Was there non-food items on it as well to take it to this amount? Good luck!"For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone."0 -
Yes. All the cashier wants to see is the receipt with the voucher from TescosPrivate Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA0

So when the pricematch comes back it gives a link to a print off voucher ? Or is it e-mailed ? How does this work ? Do you have to collect it from the store ?
There was about £40 worth of toys.0 -
Yes so you will get an email(hopefully) and it will tell you if the shopping would have been cheaper at Asda. If it was, Tesco will say sorry and there will be a link to a voucher, which which you can print off and take on your next shop.
Keep the receipt as you may need to show it when you use the voucher.0 -

To make this work you have to preplan your shopping. If you just wander around the store picking up the bargains then Tesco will always be cheaper.
Think about the items you need, check them in mysupermarket and those that are cheaper at Asda, separate out and go through the checkout with a second shop. This way you can benefit from both Tesco and Asda low prices.
Or if you live close to both Tesco and Asda, just go to both stores and forget about the hassles with getting vouchers, keeping receipts etc!0 -

I don't know if toys will compare or not. Maybe someone else can enlighten us but I think it may possibly only be groceries.
As Tesc* explained very well above, go to www.mysupermarket.co.uk and enter Tesco to choose your supermarket. I first started to do this price check a few weeks ago and am still learning. I started by choosing the item and putting it in the basket and quickly realised that I only had to go into each item I was going to buy and it then gives you the price in each supermarket. Whatever is more expensive, keep at the top of your list and put these to the front of your trolley or put a basket in your trolley. If you put these through first (I just say they are for someone else and the shop assistant doesn't bother as many of us have to buy for another family member so they are used to that) and then pay for that first lot and that's them out of the way. Then you can continue with your second lot which will all be cheaper on your receipt. My husband did our shopping on Saturday and he couldn't be bothered waiting a few more minutes while I checked at mysupermarket. I should have got £2.49 back but because 3 items were dearer by £1.59 in total the difference was taken off and I got 90p back but better than nothing anyway. We don't have a local Asda so this is great for us to be able to do the price check and get something back. It might only be small amount but if you multiply it by 52 weeks, it all adds up. I thought I was lucky a couple of weeks ago when there were not one but two receipts left in a trolley. My first womble lol! I got home and was just about to enter the details when I noticed the date was December 2011. They were in good condition too so maybe someone just emptied them out of their purse. Total disappointment! I can never find any in the trolleys I choose but I will keep casting a discreet eye lol."For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone."0
