hi.. thx for this, Just wondering how you went about asking for dtd? were they trouty at all?
I worked it out as if you bought 18 packs at 1.29 it would be £23.22,
but if you bought 18 at £2.49 buy one get two free (ie pay for 6 and get 12 free) this would cost £14.94..
so you were charged 6 x 2.49 (therefore overcharged by £7.20, dtd £14.40)
well done spotted both labels today..thx0 -
in my normal tesco today in the clearance aisle there was george formans for a family of 4 £19. there was 4 in a line with the label directly underneath and no other george formans in sight
bought one and scanned at £49.97. i had genuinely not even noticed as my 2yr old was attempting to escape from the trolley until i got to the car
went to CS and she went and looked and the barcode was different but the label said family 4 george forman
so i told her it was misleading as there was no other george formans in sight and it clearly say 4 family george forman so after 10 min argument about me not having 3 hours to check every single barcode of every product i buy i asked to speak to the manager.
as i went to explain she jumped in so i said could i show him, so we went off and i showed him the others and where the label was in relation to the grills.
he completely agreed and told the trout to give DTD
her face was a picture :rotfl:
so paid £49.97 and got just under £62 back
so was paid almost £12 to take it away0
