A word about LedShoppe.
Look at my past posts and I've bought from tham on a few coccasions but I have to say this eveything I've bought from them fails pretty quickly after receipt. I have 3-4 torches and a 4-in-1 pen and all of the torches if they work at all work for a few seconds before you have to thump them to get the light to come back on and it fails again every few seconds.
I can't fault their CS as they've sent me a replacement for a 'non-working on arrival' pen, but I really don't think it's worth buying from them based on my experience.0 -

I agree that their products can use cheaper plastics, but the 2 things I bought from them are still going strong (usb sd card reader and a 3 watt luxeon star headlamp - best buy IMO was so much cheaper than anywhere in this country)

Actually all the products I have bought have been metal - it's not a case that rough handling has damaged them.
I think they're simply cheaply machined and the torches have poor contacts hence the light failing. It's just odd that it has happened on everything including including the three items recieved a week ago.
Amusingly it hasn't happened to the cheap plastic freebies key fob light they include for free.
