How much have/will you spend today Monday 19/2?

Good morning lovely DFWs :)

Another Monday to deal with  It's dark and gloomy around here and really wish it was still the weekend :o

Planning a non spender today unless my lunch doesn't appeal to me at lunch time - soup :( Sorry to all the soup lovers but I am just not a soup fan!

Anyway, with lots of us on the naughty seat over last week's challenge, we have no option but to try harder this week so let's give it some welly!!! :D

Have a great day and keep it low!

Moozie x

I've got soup for lunch today too and I know what you mean. I made this soup last Thursday night, so it's not exactly fresh... my attempts at healthier eating means I'm resorting to a "throw every vegetable to hand in the pot" method of soupery, and it's hardly inspiring.

    Beats jogging though.

Fell off my mountain bike yesterday  so all bruised down my left side :(

    However;
*Limp to the PO to post eBay parcels - £4.90 (10p under estimate!)
    *Milk & packet of crisps - £0.79
*£1.95 Couldn't resist comfort sarnie and diet coke for lunch as feeling sore and sick :(
(Oh and put aside £2 for darling boyf as I owe him for a £2 coin he pulled out from behind my ear yesterday :rotfl: )

    £9.64

Should be it unless I feel sorry for myself at lunchtime and buy choc!

    Catt xx

    Edited: due to lunchtime weaknesses!

I've had a tin of soup at least 4 days a week for 5 months now. Am quite, quite sick of it. 35p a tin though and it's quite thick and lovely, just... I miss sandwhiches!

NSD here, other than the £141.68 water bill I just paid. Still haven't worked out a way to stop at least one DD bouncing this month - there's just not enough coming in with OH not working - and that's with our parents buying us food! Gaaaah. x
  • Hi Moozie & all DFWs:D

I wasnt on here last week because it was a rather hectic half term and time really didnt allow such luxuries! Hope you will forgive me :o I didnt spend too much tho, i paid out £2.50 for DS to go to a sports 'funday', and 50p for drinks whilst there. I treated myself to some magazines 3 for £2 at the market. So total spend was around £5. Not bad at all!

Back to normal this week.:T Budget £20, although i really want to trim that down a bit more if i can from next week.

Good luck to everybody for the new week.

  • New here - been reading the site all weekend. Hoping for an NSD today ... got my lunch with me (leftovers from last night but, if I say so myself, it looks way more appetising than what they laughingly call a sandwich from shop near work). And some lovely person left a huge tin of chocs in my shared office ... so no spending when I have that chocolate craving :) Hurrah. Looks like someone is trying to help me out here.
