Weight Loss Advice Give n Take :) (p90x advice)

I'm pleased to say I lost almost 3 stones in 2.5 month. But now I'm at that stage I've got 1 more stone to reach target and I am so stuck. Nothing seems to be working. It's not the weight in numbers that's not how I lost the weight I only weighed myself once a month. It was how my clothes started lossening. Buying clothes is expensive so I'm been making do with borrowing sisters stuff and only bought 2 cheap jeans to last me for the next couple of months and just finding ways to make tshirts look ok. No point in buying anything right now.
Anyway what I want to know is I run almost everyday and on the days I don't run I walk and do light weights but this has stopped 'working. I think it's called a plateau. So I saw some people on youtube about p90x. Not it looks really good for mixing it up and staying away from lulls
Anyone tried this? Anyone REAL and not paid to smile at me and say it works?
And for anyone wanting to know how I lost the weight ask anything I'll answer. I'm around for the next couple of hours and the rest I'll answer through the week
I started trying to lose weight mid December and last weighed in 2 weeks ago. Around 2 stones and 5-7 pounds lost
Thank yooooooooooou

Hi there
I have been using P90x for the last 6 months... Im on my round 3 now.
I brought my copy off gumtree for £60. I can say that it is worth.
All you need to do is keep pushing play and follow the workouts.
Obviously you need to push yourself.
The Yoga X part of the routine is OMG! Yoga is very important and still has me sweating like a pig.
In the first 3 months I dropped from 42" waist to 34" and 26% Body fat to 13%.
P90X involves muscle confusion, it works... trust me.
The diet is omportant too. You dont need to spend loads on "shakeolgy" or protein bars.
I actually make my own protein bars and never really spend long in the kitchen.. cos I hate cooking.
If I can do it... so can you.
Well done with the weight loss and if you need any more info on P90x or diet etc.. you know where I am

OP, your saying your weight loss has stalled. Just wondered if you had tried anything new since it stalled?
I'd say about 80% of weight loss was as a result of food and reductions in calories, exercise does make a difference but not as much as we're lead to believe, its what you eat or don't eat that really makes the difference.
If your sure there is nothing in your diet which could be altered I'd suggest going to see your GP to rule out anything and get advice, however if your in a healthy body range they may not take much notice. If your above a healthy range and are not able to get things to a healthy range this is when they'd want to run tests.
PX9- by the way is very hardcore and requires your full attention, by all means go for it and expect to see a stronger body at the very least (if you do it properly) but its not easy and is pretty full on as much as it is expensive!
Make sure you rest well also, resting is when your body does all the internal work, building back up the muscles that exercise destroys (exercise is supposed to do this if your trying to improve it!) Its also when it has the chance to come back stronger so your able to do more next time- or even just carry on doing the same. Doing the same thing every day may not get results if your body gets used to it, you need th change your workout every 8 weeks or so as you can get used to things at a pretty fast rate.
Drinking (water) is also important, water does a lot more then we give it credit for and is pretty essential to weight loss. Of course add juice/sugarfree squash if your having problems but IMO I'd say results are better with plain water over flavored or diet fizzy stuff, that could just be me (and all my friends) but maybe worth thinking about?0
