Urgent loan for person with poor credit

Options
Hi there,

I need to borrow GBP1000 urgently to cover some payments that would otherwise bounce today and incur high charges as a result.

My credit rating isn't great (400 - 500 depending on source) and I've tried to increase my credit card limit and tried to get an overdraft to at least partially offset the damage these payments would do, but neither of these options were successful.

The actual problem in itself lies with some payday loans I ran up before I figured out the true cost of these. I've worked out a budget plan to deal with this problem, but it's contingent upon being able to get this loan today and yes, I know it's last minute, but I'm ever hopeful.

Thanks for any advice

I don't think you stand a chance, sorry.

If you've messed even the payday boys around, I think you're left with crime (not advised) or begging.

There is very little chance of you getting another loan at such short notice - and how are you going to pay it back?

This is probably the best thing that could have happened as it should prevent things getting much worse as you will now realise that you are going to have to sort things out.

As a starter, go over to the debt free board and post up a full statement of affairs using the link at the top of the page. Some of the feedback you receive will not necessarilly be what you want to hear, but it will enable you to put the brakes on and sort yourself out long term rather than carry on as you are.
  • No chance , you are struggling with pay day loans, - which is seen as a last option. I think it is time you admit that you have money issues , rather than looking for a temporary loan fix.

  • Getting money that fast generally means your exisiting bank, payday loan, or willing relative. I would suggest asking your bank for an emergency overdraft but if your credit rating is as bad as your post seems to suggest I don't fancy your chances.

As suggested above try posting in the DFW forum with an SOA, it possible they can help you priortise your bills and cut your expenditure so you can get yourself out of debt.
