Transferring money abroad cheaply...

I intend to use mine to transfer regular amounts into my Australian bank account (via my parents). As well as the excellent exchange rate, the account gets a fixed 5% interest rate.

However, if anyone knows which Oz ATMs the card can be used at, I'd appreciate knowing.

I sent my Nationwide cash card to my daughter in Mexico and it has worked well, a couple of months ago I also used ISX FX to transfer a larger amount, for £10,000 or more they did not charge a transfer fee, you have to open an account and send proof of ID.
Only prob with the cash card is that the exchange rate used does not appear on your online statement, but cust services told me it does if you use their debit card, so I just asked my daughter how much she had withdrawn to calculate the exchange rate.

You can use the Nationwide Card at any ATM that has the Cirrus sign. Westpac Banking Corporation is compatible
