Hello!
One of my modules this semester requires that I pick an article in Russian of around 1500-2000 words, on a topic of my choosing - so I was wondering if anyone knows where I can buy copies of Russian Vogue/Cosmo/Marie Claire etc in the UK? I've tried Google and Ebay but to no avail, but just on the offchance someone here might know I thought I'd ask before I give up and resort to trawling Russian websites for something that doesn't bore me silly

Russian London - http://www.russianlondon.com/ - sell magazines. Probably easiest to give them a call, rather than try to navigate their website.
Borders bookshops also sell Russian magazines in their foreign section from time to time, and can probably order them for you. They're a bit hit and miss though.
If you're in London, there is a magazine seller outside of Holborn station who always stocks most major Russian magaizines.0
