Lionbridge Ad Assessor UK

Hi all ,

I decided to open a new thread for here for people that work as an
Ad Assessor (UK) for Lionbridge. The other threads are mainly used by people working as Internet Assessors.

Ive been working for them for 2 weeks now and I am enjoying it immensely.

I just opened this thread for anyone like me that has just started working as an Ad Assessor (UK).

That's interesting, have you done internet assessing with Lionbridge too? If so is it similar terms and conditions?

How did you go about getting the Ad assessor role? The reason i ask is because looking at their website it says you need to be have been a resident in the US for 5 years?

Hi,

I originally I applied for the internet assessor role but failed the second part of the exam, (due to stupidly rushing through it) then I was invited to apply for the role of Ad Assessor UK. (so this time I learned from my mistake and took my time and woohoo passed the exam)
Thanks yes I am well aware it says on the LB website you must be a US resident but this is something new they are doing for workers in the UK now. Sorry but I am not going to go into specifics because I signed an NDA.

Hi I've just received an email inviting me to do this role.

This may be a silly question but on the requirements it says windows 7 or vista. If I have a Mac does it really matter? I can't see there being any compatibility issues at all. Thanks.

I couldnt find information to say that you can't use a MAC so you should be ok but then again I use
Windows 7 lol. I'm pretty sure there are MAC users doing the Internet Assessor Job so I don't think you will have any problems. Good luck with your application.

If any Mac users can confirm they do this job and have no problems that would be great!

what exactly does an ad assessor do?
as the LB job description does not really tell us that much!

Sorry but I'm not allowed to say first rule of LB don't talk about LB lol
the information on the website does tell you what you will be doing though if you are successful (assuming you apply, good luck if you do btw)

Until quite recently there was a forum on wplh for people who do rating work. Internet Assessor.
For reasons I have yet to understand the forum was shut down.

I'm looking to see where the raters have gone.

Is this the place ... ?
