in Cutting tax
Hi,
I am a bit of a 'muppet' concerning tax, ie, when i worked paid it, never checked it etc.......well, i have been med retired & my mate who is a bit more clued up got in touch via email & asked if i had checked if i am due an income tax refund from last years tax? i have recently had a small cheque for 20 quid from the inland revenue. Is this what my mate is talking about OR have i got to get in touch with my ex-employers & ask them about any possible refund?Any ideas? Would be grateful if anyone can help. Thanx
