Nationwide loan soft search

Hi all
I've just done a soft search with nationwide for a loan, the quoted figure was 6.4%.....if I go ahead with a full application does anyone know the chances of getting the loan? I appreciate that the quoted apr may increase. Was just wandering if anyone else has done the soft search then gone ahead and either been declined or accepted?

Thanks in advance

  • You have been given a low APR, I would of thought this would be a accept but things can sometimes change with a full search.
Can I find out my credit score?
You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)

Don't forget to let us know the outcome;)
  • With Nationwide soft quotes, if you have been quoted 24.9 % you will most certainly be declined. If you get a lower quote, you are likely to accepted. 6.4% is an extremely good rate, therefore you should get accepted. I would be surprised if you didnt.

I applie on Friday the original apr was around 6% when doing it all I was quoted 7.5% apr I've been accepted in principle but looking at my credit report the only thing they state is no more then 3 defaults in the last 12 months which I've had none, I hear back on Tuesday as it takes 2 working days but I signed the contract and give them details of the account I want the money put I to etc.

Good luck & let us know.
