Overseas bidder not paying

I think I'm being too nice, so just wanted other opinions.
An item ended on 12/02, no payment received by 16/02 so i went to send an invoice and the buyer is from Israel ( however recent activity with ebay UK and good feedback). Now I only quote UK postage in my listing and do not advertise the fact that if pushed I will send overseas. This seller did not ask beforehand if i would post overseas nor asked for a postage quote. So i worked out the postage to send to Israel which pushed it up from £2 to £8 and sent the invoice on 16/02 at 7am.
Still no communication nor payment - how long do I wait? Technically I guess I can do it now as its more than 4 days since 12/02?
thanks

I find it a lot less hassle to just add the overseas postage quotes to my listings, saves all the problems. That way like Obviouslythe best I feel quite happy at opening an NPB dead on day 4.

  • Some of my personal unofficial policies (refunds/partial refunds etc) some on here would say are soft/nice/ a bit fluffy, but as above (OTB), I have a zero tolerance on NPB. Open a dispute, they will either pay or not, if not close after day 4, regardless of location.
  • As above. File after 4 days. Add bidder ID to blocked bidders list. Relist and move on. No point wasting time.
