Hello again. Thanks for all of you who replied to my previous thread.
(this is thread no.2,)
I have a worrying issue with the mess I made, changing bank accounts.
In a nutshell: Payplan told me to cancel all direct debits with Barclays.
(they have all my debit details etc)
I joined nationwide as there is no link to the 4debts I owe
(RBS credit card, Santander credit card , abbey loan ,barclayloan)
Unfortunately , nationwide contacted barclays for direct debit details.
I have tried to get the 4 loans removed from nationwide before it starts, but they haven't as yet got them.
I tried to close Santander current account, which is now zero.
Santander cancelled direct debits, but said they couldn't close account as the Santander credit card is preventing it from doing so until 1march.
In the meantime, Payplan have given me a plan and are going to
Contact Santander, Barclays and RBS to try and get an agreement with them to accept .
Am I over worrying ? Or have I blown it with nationwide before I start?
Please advise
Thanks

One other thing I should mention, Barclays was main account.santander was wused when I could afford to make payments. I stupidly made direct debit for credit card with them, instead of keeping all direct debits with one bank.0
