Sent CV with wrong address

Hi there
I recently moved, and thought I had updated the address on my CV, but as it turns out I haven't.
I applied for a job earlier which required me to email my CV, which I have done, and have only just realised I haven't updated the address.
Has anyone got any suggestions as to how I can rectify this without looking like a complete eejit? Or should I just leave it and hope that the employer emails me rather than sending a letter should I be lucky enough to get an interview?
Thanks.

Highly unlikely someone will write back to you and if they did I hope you have a mail forwarding but if you have got the email of where the application went just reply back with a new copy and say you are moving there in a week and thought it best they had your new address.
They do not need to know you are there now and forgot to change the addrress.
Just tell them this copy over riders the other one. No big deal really0 -
Would say as long as your email address and maybe your mobile number are the same can't really see a problem.0

I don't think invites to interview are likely to be done by letter anymore - far more likely to be by email or phone. I've received a rejection by mail, and an offer by phone, but everything else has been done via email.
If you want to make doubly sure, then do as LadyMissA says and send through an updated CV saying that you are moving before the closing date. Unless it's a very small company, the person receiving and printing the CVs is unlikely to be on the selection/interview panel.Debt at LBM (17/10/08) £5727.61 Debt free date 31/08/090 -
I don't put my address on my CV, only the town I live in.0
