Is my tax code correct?

Hi peeps,

I'm just wondering if my tax code sounds correct?

basically i get paid the 3rd Thursday of every mont (not sure why) and my code is 752L?

Does this sound right?

    The day of the month that you get paid is down to your employer, the third Thursday of each month sounds quite reasonable.

    Your tax code has absolutely nothing to do with when you get paid. The standard code for 2011/2 is 747L so you have been given a code that means you get an additional £50 on your personal allowance; you should have had a notice from HMRC to say why this is but it may be something like a uniform allowance for a small change such as this.

    I was just concerned with the current re-bate or owing of tax.
