Barclaycard could well be about the 19% ill do it properly again when I get the rates off my statements.
Thinking about it though I might be better to just do it at the higher rates that way it will be a suprise when i pay it off sooner/.0 -
Hi
Call the companies tomorrow. Most cards have a helpline number on the back. They will be able to tell you staright away the apr you are paying. Ask them politely if they are able to lower it, you'd be suprised - sometimes they will drop it for you, sometimes not. Can't hurt to ask.
I agree with everyone else, Vanquis will be the highest judging by the leaflets i have had in my post.
Get below you limit asap on all cards, and then pay as much as you can to Vanquis. Meanwhile claim those charges back too.
Good luckWhat's he building in there???
Debt at highest £30,450 (Dec 05)
Debt at lowest £9, 113 (Jul 07)
How much did we over spend whilst on maternity leave :mad:0 -
I would be very careful about claiming back those charges when you cannot afford to repay the accounts in full. They may ask for this, as is their right, if you take action against them.0

deffo worth calling - they never put the apr on the statementOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 208 - Proud To Have Dealt With My Debts DEBT FREE DECEMBER 2008!!!0

i agree with everyone else too... find out the aprs and then snowball... always pay off the highest interest one first while paying the minamums to the others... the debt isnt much (in comparison with other posters) although it may be huge to you... hopefully you should have payed them all off in no time... once they are paid close the accounts and then start the procedures to reclaim charges

are you saying its not a good idea to reclaim charges while the account is open? I am only reclaiming them on Barclaycard and the 2 capital ones.
Barclaycard will have about £250 of charges so that will more or less cover that one, if they decided to close it im sure i could find the other £50
As for capital one they have about £600 in charges so that will more or less cover there debts I reckon.0 -
Do have them have online facilities, you could see the balances and keep track of them and make payments that way?0
