You see the fundamental problem with lightbulbs is that when you leave the room the lightbulb goes out.

Which leads me back here, 2yrs after becoming debt free; in more debt than my during my first lightbulb moment (the energy saving ones have been installed it takes a bit longer to get bright).

Can i do it again before youngest goes to school? I just feel so f-ing stupid.

Sorry to hear that you are back in debt again. Good luck with busting the debt a second time. At least you will know all the tricks of the trade this time, so that is a silver lining..

    Thankyou all,

That long night when you work through all those fears was 19 Dec when we couldnt afford the ticket to go to work, so i had to walk 3 miles. Basics are done in the last six weeks, but if I dont start writing I wont keep it up.

OH has worked some overtime/sold some leave =£1,500 (a 1 off).

Have changed TV package, save £15 a month.
Have applied for, and got a 0% credit card (was a little scary) save £90 a month.

Have been to music magpie, first £10 on its way.
Have registered with green metropolis (but i love my books it would be a wrench to sell
    Have registered with ebay.
    looking at surveys.
will be better about using vouchers
    entering some comps.

    We already do batch cooking,
Slice the pie seems to have died. which is a shame.

    I will take responsibility.

I dont like doing SOAs too early on, as I am still working out in my head which payment is this month, which was last month and what we owe next month etc. But anyways its turned out pretty good so here goes (figs are rounded).

    Income
    Mine.....................1293
    OH ........................900
    C.Ben.....................135

    Ttl...................... 2328

    Spend
    Mortgage................695

    Loan .....................167
    CC 2 .....................150
    C.Tax ....................118
